Eclipse

I would have called this Birds of Yang III but I think there are enough of those in my gallery For 's Black and White charity contest! [link]

So Yeah! This is the original concept behind Birds of Yang!: [link] but I didn't have Illustrator at the time so I couldn't quite make it as epic as I wanted. Its the closest thing I've had to my mind's eye thus far - and I've improved on the composition a lot!

Made entirely in Illustrator using flare, mesh and gradient tools.

If there are any ideas for making this more epic, please let me know. What do you think of the composition? Do the action lines work? How does the eclipse look?
